Y7 Catch Up Premium 2019 / 2020

In 2019/2020 35 pupils were eligible for the catch up premium of £17,518.

English and Literacy

Maths

  • 100% of pupils made at least expected progress – Acceptable progress.

The Year 7 Catch Up Premium budget was spent on our Milner curriculum which encompasses significant literacy and numeracy development, delivered by curriculum specialists.


Y7 Catch Up Premium 2018/2019

In 2018/2019 37 pupils were eligible for the catch up premium of £18,621.

English and Literacy

  • 95% of pupils made at least expected progress – Acceptable progress.
  • 22% of pupils made above expected progress – Good progress.

Maths

  • 95% of pupils made at least expected progress – Acceptable progress.
  • 5% of pupils made above expected progress – Good progress.

Y7 Catch Up Premium 2017/2018

In 2017/2018 45 pupils were eligible for the catch up premium of £22,345.

English and Literacy

  • 93% of pupils made at least expected progress – Acceptable progress.
  • 27% of pupils made above expected progress – Good progress.

Maths

  • 93% of pupils made at least expected progress – Acceptable progress.
  • 48% of pupils made above expected progress – Good progress.

Our average reading progress in 2018 across Year 7 was 2.5 years, Year 8 2.7 years and Year 9 3.2 years.


Y7 Catch Up Premium 2016/2017

In 2016/2017 we received funding for 47 pupils who were eligible for the catch up premium of £23,448.

However, we had 58 pupils matching the criteria in English and 50 pupils in Maths.

  • 12 % of pupils made above expected progress – Good progress.

Maths

  • 58% of pupils made at least expected progress – Acceptable progress.
  • 42 % of pupils made above expected progress – Good progress.
