The Year 7 Catch Up Premium budget was spent on our Milner curriculum which encompasses significant literacy and numeracy development, delivered by curriculum specialists.

In 2018/2019 37 pupils were eligible for the catch up premium of £18,621.

In 2017/2018 45 pupils were eligible for the catch up premium of £22,345.
English and Literacy

Our average reading progress in 2018 across Year 7 was 2.5 years, Year 8 2.7 years and Year 9 3.2 years.
Y7 Catch Up Premium 2016/2017
In 2016/2017 we received funding for 47 pupils who were eligible for the catch up premium of £23,448.
However, we had 58 pupils matching the criteria in English and 50 pupils in Maths.
