Express Yourself for Manchester Mind
12/05/2022
This week recognises Mental Health Awareness Week across the UK. To promote this across our school community, on Friday 13th May we are encouraging children (and adults) to explore the different ways we can express ourselves, and the creative ways that we can share our feelings, our thoughts and our ideas.
Students may wear their own clothes on Friday 13th May in exchange for a small donation.
For anyone wanting to take part and wear non-uniform, we are asking for a donation of £2, although every amount helps make a difference. We are able to accept cash donations or payments can be made through ParentPay by selecting ‘Payment Items’ followed by ‘Dress to Express Day’.
All the money raised will go to Manchester Mind, a fantastic charity that supports young people in our school through mental health and wellbeing interventions. We look forward to seeing how all our students and staff choose to express themselves on the day.
