The school is well served by local transport, both the normal service buses which run along Burnage Lane, Kingsway, and Mauldeth Road, and by special buses which leave for Longsight and Piccadilly.
The Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive (GMPTE) allows for the provision of free bus passes for students who live more than three miles from school.
For students who live 2 miles away from the school and are on free school meals or whose parents receive maximum bus tax credit, a pass is also provided for free.
Applications for such passes should be made to the GMPTE (Tel: 0161 242 6116).
We do our best to supervise students as they leave school but we ask that you impress upon your son the importance of abiding by the normal rules of safety when crossing the busy roads around the school.
