Open Event & Virtual Visit

Open Event - September 2021

We were delighted to be able to open our doors to visitors again for our Open Event last Thursday 30 September. It was lovely to meet so many of you and show you why we think we are the right option for your son's education.

Visitors were able to take part in sporting activities such as indoor climbing, Olympic wrestling, and archery, and to see some of our lessons in action. Whether it was interactive games in French, puzzles in maths, exciting experiments in science, debating in English or cooking with our food and nutrition team, we are sure you will have found something to capture your interest!

The Treasure Hunt also kept everyone busy - and a big well done to Year 6 visitor Haris for winning the raffle and being presented with a new Lenovo tablet by Deputy Headteacher Mr Rogers!

If you were unable to attend, we have shared some of the content below as part of a 'Virtual Open Event'. Hear from key staff, watch Mr Harrison's presentation, and listen to some of our pupils.

If you'd like to visit us, then we are more than happy to oblige. Please email us at or call us on 0161 4321527.

Please take a look at more videos from our school below - we hope you can see our values of independence, resilience and care shining through.

Our School Building

We love our state-of-the-art building and facilities. See our outdoor spaces including basketball courts, 3G football pitches and a landscaped school field for cricket, athletics and football. Experience movement around the spacious school corridors: from design and technology workshops on the ground floor, to a fully-functioning student library and resource centre on the first floor, all the way up to the purpose-built science laboratories on the second floor.
