Open Evening

Open Evening 2026 will take place on Thursday 8 October 2026.

Join us for an evening of activity and fact-finding! There will be the chance to hear from key staff and pupils past and present to really get a taste of life at Burnage Academy for Boys. There will be a range of activities set up for young people to try in all areas of the school, and staff will be able to give you all the information you need about individual subjects, and the pastoral care and extracurricular opportunities available to pupils here.

Doors will open at 4pm, and the event will close at 7pm.

If are not able to attend, do not worry. We welcome visits at any time of the day so that you can see our school in action. Email us at office@burnage.manchester.sch.uk or call us on 0161 4321527 to arrange a personal tour.

Our website also has valuable information about Transition from Primary and our Admissions process.

Our School Building

We love our state-of-the-art building and facilities. See our outdoor spaces including 3G football pitches and cricket lanes, and a landscaped school field for cricket, athletics and football. Move around the school, from design and technology workshops on the ground floor, to a fully-functioning student library on the first floor, all the way up to the purpose-built science laboratories on the second floor.
