Uniform

We want our students to look smart and to be proud of their school. We also want parents to feel that the uniform is good value for money and easy to maintain. We believe that we have achieved this with our traditional but smart uniform.

We Require Our Students To Wear

• School blazer with logo or school jumper with logo (or both)
• House tie
• Black trousers
• White shirt
• Black shoes or understated trainers that are mostly black

The uniform can be purchased directly from Monkhouse - either online via this link, in-store (Cheadle Hulme Shopping Centre, SK8 5BE), or at in-school pop-up events. 

We understand that you may already have uniform that has old logos, or previous versions of blazers or PE kits. We do not require you to replace these until you are ready to do so. 

Free jumper and tie

If you have accepted your Year 7 place here, you will be able to receive your free jumper from Monkhouse either in-store or at an in-school pop-up event. Ties will be given on your son's first day.

PE Lessons

For PE lessons it is necessary to have suitable clothing for reasons of hygiene and practicality. Since PE lessons may take place indoors or outdoors, we recommend appropriate clothing for each situation. All PE kit can be purchased from Monkhouse.

For PE, students are required to wear

• Black, branded training t-shirt (previous versions are acceptable).
• Black shorts or tracksuit bottoms. These can be either branded school ones, or completely plain black (with no logos).
• Plain black socks.
• For colder weather, pupils should have either the branded 1/4 zip training top, or the black branded PE hoodie (no longer available to purchase).
• Pupils are not allowed to wear any other sports brands.
